As is about cooking in its purest form. That means diners are allowed to see, in a respectful way, that one
creature dies so that the other may live. As offers an appealing selection of dishes determined in large
part by nature. Changes in the season and the climate make themselves felt in the menu.
At As, we cook with authentic, flavourful ingredients obtained from mostly organic suppliers that are small
enough to make their own decisions. For example, we use Panifico Deumila's Pane di Altamura from Puglia;
Lorenz Hampl and Mirco Wiegers' Fritz Cola from Hamburg; and farmer De Wolf's Dutch goat cheese from Terwolde.

As provides a special family menu on Sundays between 17:30 and 21:00 at € 28.50 per person (three courses).
There is an adjusted menu for children.

As is open from Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 23:00. To preserve the peace and balance of the
restaurant, we take bookings for up to eight people. Diners sit at long communal tables, so you will be
sitting next to other people.

From Wednesday through Saturday, from 17:30 to 18:00, you can dine with the chef. You will be served the
daily special for €14 a person, not including drinks. Sign up before 16:00 on the day you wish to come.
